Huge congratulations to the incredibly talented and dedicated Logan Conner for being named February's Optimist Student of the Month! From being a leader in multiple clubs to excelling on the track and basketball court, Logan embodies what it means to be a well-rounded student. She is the SCA Senior Class President, Drama Club President, NHS member, JM Ambassador member, Key Club member, Monroe Singer and so much more. She is excelling in school as well, her grades have kept her on the President's Honor Roll for 4 years. When she is not at school she volunteers for the Food Bank, FAM, Animal Shelter, Big Time Hoops, and more. She plans to attend a 4-year university in the Fall, majoring in Architecture with a minor in Theatre. We can't wait to see all the amazing things she will accomplish in the future! Keep shining bright, Logan! #StudentOfTheMonth #MultiTalented #FutureArchitect

Comprehensive Planning for FCPS 2029 is Underway
Today, Monday, February 26, 2024, faculty and staff representatives worked in focus groups to analyze division-wide data they'd collected in the areas of Excellence in Education, Exemplary Staff, School & Community, Health & Wellness, and Facilities & Operations. Their highlights were shared with the larger group, and then focus groups planned edits to their documents by asking questions like:
Have we met the previous objectives? Are there objectives that are no longer needed? What needs to be added? Who is responsible for monitoring?
Focus groups also identified the data they used to determine their recommendations.

On Thursday, 2/22 the Explore the Armed Forces Club attended the Fredericksburg Chamber event Our Military Our Community. Students were able to hear about the mission of each installation in our local community and the impact and needs they have. Such an amazing experience!
